Material 2.4858 is a fully austenitic nickel-iron-chromium alloy stabilized with titanium. It also contains copper and molybdenum, giving it exceptional resistance to reducing, oxidizing, and organic acids. Incoloy® 825 is highly resistant to alkalis and chloride-containing solutions. This alloy is known for its outstanding resistance to pitting, crevice, and stress corrosion cracking. It is easy to process by both hot and cold forming and also offers good machinability.
