2.4886 is a nickel-molybdenum-chromium-tungsten alloy filler metal with a very low carbon content (0.01%). It offers excellent corrosion resistance, particularly against sulphurous acids in chloride-containing environments. No pre-heating or post-heating is necessary for use.
