The width and length of sheet metal blanks have a tolerance of +/-2mm. Please note that these blanks are intended for industrial use and are not suitable for decorative or visible applications, as surface scratches may be present. The surface is of pure industrial quality and blanks are cut with guillotine shears. Not every sheet comes with a protective film. If surface quality is important for your project, please contact us for possible solutions. If you require a different steel grade or custom dimensions, our sales team is available to provide a tailored quote from our stock or delivery program.Production of the sheet typically takes 6-7 weeks, with an additional 2-3 working days required for shipment preparation. Delivery time varies depending on the parcel service—please refer to our FAQ for more details.Grade 2 titanium sheet is produced from unalloyed pure titanium (minimum 99.2% Ti, material number 3.7035). This grade offers excellent corrosion resistance in oxidizing and alkaline environments and is unaffected by organic acids, compounds, hot gases, or aqueous salt solutions. It is particularly stable in seawater. Grade 2 titanium is easy to weld with standard processes and features high notched impact strength, good creep strength, excellent ductility, and toughness. It is also biocompatible (safe for contact with the human body) and non-magnetic.Our titanium sheets are available for worldwide shipping and can be cut to your required size. We offer competitive pricing and reliable service.Grade 2 titanium sheets are widely used in various industries, especially in the chemical sector for apparatus engineering. Their outstanding resistance to salt and seawater makes them ideal for offshore applications. Other common uses include:- Aerospace engineering components - Shipbuilding - Seawater desalination and flue gas desulphurization systems - Medical technology - Heat exchangers - Cryogenic vesselsKey features of titanium plate 3.7035 include:- High corrosion resistance in oxidizing and alkaline conditions - Resistance to organic acids, hot gases, and salt solutions - Excellent seawater resistance - High impact strength and creep rupture strength - Outstanding weldability - High ductility and toughness - Excellent biocompatibility - Non-magnetic propertiesIf you are looking to purchase titanium plates, Evek GmbH offers a wide selection of cut-to-size titanium sheets and plates, along with smooth and efficient shipping.Chemical composition (in %):| Ti | C | N | Fe | O | H | |-----------|-------|-------|-------|-------|--------| | remainder | 0.08 | 0.03 | 0.30 | 0.25 | 0.015 |
