Grade 2 titanium sheet is made from unalloyed, commercially pure titanium (minimum 99.2% Ti, material number 3.7035). It is highly resistant to corrosion in oxidizing and alkaline environments, as well as to organic acids, hot gases, and aqueous salt solutions. The material is stable in seawater, weldable by all standard methods, and features high impact and creep strength, ductility, and toughness. Grade 2 titanium is biocompatible and non-magnetic.
