Round steel 1.4571 is an austenitic, stainless chromium-nickel steel alloyed with molybdenum and stabilized with titanium. This grade offers excellent corrosion resistance, including protection against intergranular corrosion both in welded states and during continuous use at temperatures up to 400 °C. The steel can be used at temperatures up to 550 °C and features good forgeability and outstanding weldability.

V4A round steel is ideal for cold forming but is not suitable for polishing. It offers good workability and maintains high stability, even at elevated temperatures. The steel is also suitable for use at low temperatures down to -50 °C.
