Description:
V2A sheets are made of stainless austenitic steel with a high proportion of chromium and nickel and a low carbon content. They are not susceptible to acids or corrosion and have good processing properties. Stainless steel sheet cutting can be easily welded with all electrical processes. In the welded state, however, stainless steel sheet 1.4301 is sensitive to intergranular corrosion.
V2A sheets are easy to polish and deep-draw and have good heat resistance of up to 600°C. Thanks to their excellent properties, they enjoy great popularity in a wide variety of areas.
