Surface pure industrial quality. Cut with guillotine shears. Not all sheets in protective film. Haynes 188 is a heat-resistant cobalt-based alloy. The cobalt content is approx. 40%. Cobalt ensures temperature resistance and good magnetic conductivity. In addition, 2.4683 contains around 22% nickel and chromium and approximately 15% tungsten. The material is characterized by excellent resistance to oxidation at temperatures up to 1100°C. It is also resistant to sulphur-containing media. The grade has good ductility and good corrosion resistance and shows good resistance to abrasion and impact. Alloy 188 is not age-hardenable, but is excellent for cold forming.
