Please refer to the FAQ for more details. Alloy 2.4669, also known as Alloy X-750, is a nickel-chromium-iron alloy that can be age-hardened. It contains approximately 70% nickel, 15% chromium, 7% iron, and 2.5% titanium, along with small amounts of aluminum, niobium, cobalt, and manganese. This alloy is highly resistant to corrosion and oxidation and maintains excellent strength at high temperatures up to 700°C. It also offers high tensile and creep rupture properties. X-750 round bars withstand many industrial corrosive environments under both oxidizing and reducing conditions, and they are highly resistant to chloride ion stress corrosion cracking when fully precipitation-hardened. Alloy X-750 is primarily used for gas turbine components, as well as for combustion chambers in rocket engines, and for high-temperature springs, screws, and fasteners (up to 650°C).
