Alloy 2.4669 (Alloy X-750) is a nickel-chromium-iron alloy that can be age-hardened. It contains approximately 70% nickel and 15% chromium, with iron (about 7%) and titanium (about 2.5%) as key alloying elements. Aluminum, niobium, cobalt, and manganese together make up around 4%. This alloy is known for its excellent resistance to corrosion and oxidation, as well as its high strength at temperatures up to 700 °C. Alloy X-750 exhibits high tensile and creep-rupture strength. Round bars made from this alloy resist many industrial corrosive environments, both oxidizing and reducing. It also demonstrates strong resistance to chloride ion stress corrosion cracking when fully precipitation-hardened.
