For details, please refer to our FAQ. 2.4669 (Alloy X-750) is a precipitation-hardenable nickel-chromium-iron alloy. It contains about 70% nickel, 15% chromium, 7% iron, and 2.5% titanium. Other elements include aluminum, niobium, cobalt, and manganese, totaling approximately 4%. This alloy is highly resistant to corrosion and oxidation, and it maintains excellent strength at elevated temperatures up to 700°C. Alloy X-750 offers high tensile strength and resistance to creep rupture. Round bars made from this material withstand various industrial corrosive environments, both oxidizing and reducing, and resist chloride ion stress corrosion cracking when fully hardened. Typical applications for Alloy X-750 include components for gas turbines, rocket engine combustion chambers, as well as high-temperature springs, screws, and fasteners (up to 650°C).
