For details, please refer to our FAQ. Alloy 2.4669 (Alloy X-750) is a nickel-chromium-iron alloy that can be age-hardened. It contains about 70% nickel and 15% chromium, with iron (about 7%) and titanium (about 2.5%) as key alloying elements. The total content of aluminum, niobium, cobalt, and manganese is about 4%. Alloy X-750 offers excellent resistance to corrosion and oxidation, as well as high strength at temperatures up to 700°C. It has outstanding tensile and creep rupture properties. Round bars made from this alloy withstand a wide range of corrosive industrial environments, both oxidizing and reducing. In the fully precipitation-hardened state, it also shows high resistance to chloride ion stress corrosion cracking. Main applications for Alloy X-750 include components for gas turbines, rocket engine combustion chambers, and high-temperature resistant springs, screws, and fasteners (up to 650°C).
