This grade is known for its high ductility across a wide temperature range, as well as its excellent mechanical and magnetic properties. Nickel 200 is stable and resistant in many corrosive environments, including alkalis, organic acids, fluorine, chlorine, and hydrogen chloride. In oxidizing conditions, a protective, corrosion-resistant film naturally forms on the surface. The material also offers outstanding electrical and thermal conductivity.
