2.4602 is a highly corrosion-resistant alloy made of nickel, chromium, molybdenum, and tungsten, with very low carbon and silicon content. Known as Hastelloy® C22, this alloy resists a wide range of corrosive substances, including both mineral and organic acids, and performs well even in seawater. It is also resistant to crevice corrosion, stress corrosion cracking, and pitting.
