Alloy C276 is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy enhanced with tungsten, and contains small amounts of carbon and silicon. This material is ideal for both cold and hot forming processes. It offers outstanding resistance to pitting, crevice, and stress corrosion, and is highly resilient against mineral and organic acids, seawater, moist chlorine gas, and chloride solutions. Grade 2.4819 is also known for its excellent weldability with all conventional welding methods.
