Alloy C276 is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy with added tungsten, and contains small amounts of carbon and silicon. This material is ideal for both cold and hot forming, offering outstanding resistance to pitting, crevice, and stress corrosion. Grade 2.4819 resists mineral and organic acids, seawater, moist chlorine gas, and chloride solutions. It is also easily weldable using all standard welding methods.
