Alloy C276 is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy with added tungsten, small amounts of carbon, and silicon. This material is ideal for both cold and hot forming and stands out for its exceptional resistance to pitting, crevice, and stress corrosion. Grade 2.4819 is resistant to mineral and organic acids, seawater, moist chlorine gas, and chloride solutions. It also offers good weldability and can be processed with all standard welding methods.
