This material stands out for its excellent corrosion resistance, especially in alkaline environments, as well as its high ductility and good machinability across a broad temperature range. It also offers strong resistance to acids such as hydrofluoric and hydrochloric acids, and is not affected by organic acids like acetic or citric acid, or by alcohols. Nickel tube 2.4066 / 2.4068 also performs well under oxidizing conditions.
