HN70U is a heat-resistant chromium-nickel-aluminum steel containing a maximum of 1% iron. Its composition includes 26-29% chromium, 65-71% nickel, and 2.8-3.5% aluminum. This grade is known for its excellent high-temperature and mechanical strength, although it is only conditionally suitable for welding. Preheating to 100-120°C is recommended before welding, and additional heat treatment is required afterward. Please note that HN70U is not resistant to sulfurous environments.
