HN70U is a heat-resistant chromium-nickel-aluminum steel with a maximum iron content of 1%. The composition is as follows: 26–29% chromium, 65–71% nickel, and 2.8–3.5% aluminum. This alloy offers excellent strength at high temperatures and is conditionally weldable. Preheating to 100–120°C is recommended before welding, followed by additional heat treatment.
