The alloy is produced in both open arc and vacuum arc furnaces.Thanks to its composition, xn38vt offers excellent wear resistance, high corrosion resistance in acidic environments, and is resistant to pitting corrosion, which can be especially harmful to standard steels. Its high nickel content ensures strong resistance to chloride ion attack.
