Manganin wire is known for its low temperature coefficient of electrical resistance (between 20 and 50°C) and high long-term stability. It also offers good workability and an extremely low thermoelectric voltage compared to copper, but is not corrosion-resistant. Manganin can be easily brazed and welded.
