Two insulation types are available:

• Glass fiber (Q-glass fiber) – maximum temperature: 600°C
• FEP (Fluorinated ethylene propylene) – maximum temperature: 200°C

Nickel-chromium (NiCr) is an alloy made primarily of nickel and chromium, sometimes with small amounts of iron. The most common composition contains 80% nickel and 20% chromium, also known as Nichrome 80/20. This alloy is widely recognized for its excellent conductivity and high resistance compared to other metals. It is commonly used as resistance wire in devices like toasters and heaters, and is occasionally used in dental work and other applications. Thanks to its high resistivity, it is possible to achieve the required resistance with small dimensions. Other NiCr alloys may include varying amounts of nickel, chromium, and iron.
