This brass strip, manufactured by Evek, is made from alloy 2.0321 (CuZn37), containing approximately 62-64% copper, 34-37% zinc, and small amounts of other elements. The sheet metal blank comes with a width and length tolerance of +/- 2mm. Brass tape CuZn37 offers excellent workability—it is easy to polish, cold-form, weld, and can be both soft and hard soldered. It also features good corrosion resistance to water, steam, and various salt solutions, and is diamagnetic, meaning it has no para- or ferromagnetic properties. This brass strip is widely used in electrical engineering (for contact parts, coils, and windings), as well as for welding and soldering, jewelry making, crafts, modeling, and decorative projects. Key technical details include an electrical resistance of 0.066 Ω·mm²/m, thermal conductivity of 120 W/m·K, a melting point of 1083°C, and a density of 8.4 g/dm³.
