Description:
Brass band with the material number 2.0321 consists of about 62-64% copper, about 34-37% zinc and about 0.5% accompanying components. The material has excellent processing properties and is easy to polish, cold-form, weld, and soft and hard solder. CuZn37 has good corrosion resistance to water, water vapor and various salt solutions. The quality is diamagnetic and shows no para- or ferromagnetism.
Brass tape CuZn37 is in great demand in various industrial sectors such as electrical engineering (contact parts, coils and windings), as welding and soldering tape and in jewelry production. Other areas of application for 2.0321 are:
