It offers excellent workability, making it easy to polish, cold-form, weld, and solder (both soft and hard). The tape is known for its good corrosion resistance against water, steam, and various salt solutions. It is diamagnetic, meaning it does not exhibit para- or ferromagnetic properties. Brass tape CuZn37 is widely used in industries such as electrical engineering (for contact parts, coils, and windings), welding and soldering, jewelry making, crafts, modeling, and decorative projects.
