ot4-1 is a wrought alloy made of titanium, aluminum, and manganese. The designation ot4-1 stands for:

• OT – trial titanium;
• 4-1 – trial number.

This alloy typically contains about 93-98% titanium, 1-2.5% aluminum, and 0.7-2% manganese. ot4-1 offers good formability both in cold and hot conditions, and can be welded using all common methods. It also features good resistance to corrosion. However, it has relatively low strength and may be susceptible to hydrogen embrittlement.
