Alloy C276 is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy with added tungsten, along with minimal amounts of carbon and silicon. This material is suitable for both cold and hot forming processes. It boasts outstanding resistance to pitting, crevice, and stress corrosion, as well as to mineral and organic acids, seawater, moist chlorine gas, and chloride solutions. Grade 2.4819 offers good weldability, compatible with all standard welding techniques.
