Alloy C276 is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum material with added tungsten, and contains small amounts of carbon and silicon. This alloy is suitable for both cold and hot forming, and is known for its outstanding resistance to pitting, crevice, and stress corrosion. Grade 2.4819 resists mineral and organic acids, seawater, moist chlorine gas, and chloride solutions. It offers good weldability and can be joined using all standard welding methods.
