Alloy C276 is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy enhanced with tungsten, and contains minor amounts of carbon and silicon. It is highly suitable for both cold and hot forming processes. This material offers outstanding resistance to pitting, crevice, and stress corrosion. Designated as 2.4819, it withstands mineral and organic acids, seawater, moist chlorine gas, and chloride solutions. The alloy also has good weldability and is compatible with all standard welding methods.
