Alloy C276 is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy with added tungsten, as well as small amounts of carbon and silicon. This material is ideal for both cold and hot forming processes. It provides outstanding resistance to pitting, crevice, and stress corrosion. Grade 2.4819 is highly resistant to mineral and organic acids, seawater, moist chlorine gas, and chloride solutions. It also has good weldability, compatible with all standard welding methods.
