Delivery times depend on the shipping service—please refer to our FAQ for more details. Our nickel wire is manufactured from technically pure, unalloyed nickel, containing about 99.2% nickel. It features excellent mechanical and magnetic properties, is easy to polish, forge, and weld, and offers high thermal and electrical conductivity. The wire is extremely ductile and resistant to pitting and intergranular corrosion, as well as to acids, alkalis, and neutral salt solutions. It can be used at temperatures up to 300 °C.Typical applications for nickel wire include: - Radio and electrical engineering (components for electrical and electronic devices) - Automotive industry - Medical technology - Household appliances - Food industry (processing cooling brine, fatty acids, and fruit juices)Key properties: - High electrical and thermal conductivity - Excellent temperature resistance (up to 300 °C) - High ductility - Superior resistance to alkaline and corrosive environments - Good mechanical properties (easy to polish, weld, and forge) - Outstanding resistance to acidsIf you are looking to purchase nickel wire, Evek GmbH offers competitive prices and reliable, fast delivery.Chemical composition (in %): Nickel (Ni): 99.2, Iron (Fe): 0.4, Carbon (C): 0.1, Manganese (Mn): 0.35, Sulfur (S): 0.005, Silicon (Si): 0.15, Copper (Cu): 0.25, Titanium (Ti): 0.1, Magnesium (Mg): 0.15
