Nimonic 90 is a precipitation hardenable nickel-chromium-cobalt alloy. Nickel is considered the base. The proportion of chromium and cobalt is around 19% and 17% respectively. The titanium and aluminum content is 2.5% and 1.4%, respectively. 2.4632 has a high creep rupture strength at temperatures up to approx. 900°C. In addition, the grade shows good corrosion and oxidation resistance at high temperatures.
Buy Nimonic 90 from Evek GmbH, the trusted supplier for high quality nickel alloys and more.
Since 2.4632 is heat-resistant, the material is used for gas turbine blades and disks. Highly heat-resistant springs are also produced from this quality.
Nimonic 90 is characterized by the following features:
- high creep and heat resistance (up to 900°C);
- good corrosion and oxidation resistance.
