Due to its composition, it is not suitable for welding, as it may become brittle when exposed to hydrogen. However, this material offers excellent formability both in cold and hot conditions and is ideal for soft soldering. Brazing in a reducing atmosphere and machining are not recommended.Thanks to its outstanding electrical and thermal conductivity, copper square bar is commonly used in heating and cooling technology (such as radiators and heat exchangers), electrical machines (like electric motors and coils), and various components including terminals and contact carriers.
