This aluminum plate, designated as material number 3.3535, is part of the aluminum-magnesium alloy family. AlMg3 is composed of at least 93.8% aluminum and 3.2-3.8% magnesium. The material cannot be hardened by heat treatment and is naturally strong. It offers excellent corrosion resistance, even in seawater and outdoor environments. The plate is highly suitable for both decorative and protective anodizing, and is compatible with most welding methods (except resistance welding).
