This aluminum plate, designated as 3.3535, is part of the aluminum-magnesium alloy group. AlMg3 contains at least 93.8% aluminum and about 3.2-3.8% magnesium. The 3.3535 material is not hardenable but is naturally strong. It provides excellent corrosion resistance against seawater and weather conditions. The plate is also highly suitable for anodizing (both decorative and protective) and performs exceptionally well with most welding methods, except resistance welding.
