2.4607 is a low-carbon (0.01%) nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy welding wire. This filler metal offers outstanding resistance to a wide range of corrosive environments, including hot, acidic, and chloride-rich conditions. It performs exceptionally well in both oxidizing and reducing atmospheres, such as in the presence of hydrochloric, sulfuric, phosphoric, and nitric acids. Additionally, it remains scale-resistant at temperatures up to 1100°C.
