Titanium Grade 1 is unalloyed commercially pure titanium with material number 3.7025. The mass fraction of titanium in this grade is between approx. 99.6% and 99.8%. The material offers high ductility and good cold formability. Titanium strip made from this material has medium strength. However, it stands out for its high corrosion resistance, notch impact strength, and good impact toughness. This titanium foil also features excellent biocompatibility. 3.7025 has a tendency toward hydrogen embrittlement, and for this reason the hydrogen content in this grade should not exceed 0.008%. Titanium 3.7025 is very well weldable and is not magnetic.
