3.7035 is an unalloyed, technically pure titanium with a minimum titanium content of 99.2%. This grade is known for its excellent mechanical properties, including high ductility, good weldability, and suitability for anodizing. It is lightweight, easy to form, and offers high resistance to creep. Notably, it has outstanding resistance to saltwater corrosion, making it ideal for marine environments. Titanium grade 2 is also resistant to corrosion in strongly oxidizing and moderately reducing conditions, as well as in alkaline environments, organic acids, aqueous salt solutions, and hot gases. The material is non-magnetic.
