Titanium Grade 1 is an unalloyed pure titanium with the material number 3.7025. The mass fraction of titanium in this grade is between approximately 99.6 and 99.8%. The material offers high ductility and good cold formability. Titanium from this material exhibits medium strength. However, it impresses with high corrosion resistance, notch toughness, and good impact toughness. This titanium also stands out due to its excellent biocompatibility. 3.7025 has a tendency to hydrogen embrittlement, and for this reason, the hydrogen content in the grade should not exceed 0.008%. Titanium 3.7025 is very weldable and non-magnetic.
