ot4-1 is a titanium-aluminum-manganese wrought alloy. The designation ot4-1 refers to:
- OT – titanium trial alloy
- 4-1 – trial number
This alloy contains about 93-98% titanium, 1-2.5% aluminum, and 0.7-2% manganese. It offers excellent formability both in cold and hot conditions, outstanding weldability with all common welding methods, and good resistance to corrosion. However, it has relatively low strength and can be susceptible to hydrogen embrittlement.
