Stainless steel 1.4845 is an austenitic, heat-resistant chromium-nickel alloy. It contains at least 24% chromium and 19% nickel, offering excellent resistance to scaling (up to 1050°C), high thermal stability, and strong mechanical properties. This material performs well against high-temperature corrosion, although it is less resistant in both oxidizing and reducing environments.
