V2A flat bars are made of austenitic stainless steel with a high chromium and nickel content and a low carbon content. They are not susceptible to acids or corrosion and have good processing properties. Stainless steel flat bar cut to size can be easily welded using all electrical processes. When welded, however, stainless steel flat bar 1.4301 is sensitive to intergranular corrosion.

V2A flat bar is easy to polish and deep-draw and has good heat resistance of up to 600°C. Thanks to their excellent properties, they are very popular in a wide variety of areas.
