V4A sheet metal is crafted from austenitic stainless steel, stabilized with titanium for excellent resistance to intergranular corrosion. The molybdenum content allows 1.4571 stainless steel sheets to perform well in acidic environments. This material is easy to weld by all common methods and does not require heat treatment after welding.

Even after welding, 316Ti sheet metal remains highly resistant to intergranular corrosion. Due to the titanium stabilization, the steel is hard but not suitable for mirror polishing. Stainless steel sheet 1.4571 is highly resistant to pitting and safe for use in food-related applications.
