Our V2A plates are made from austenitic stainless steel, which is high in chromium and nickel and contains very little carbon. These plates offer excellent corrosion resistance, even against acids, and are easy to work with and weld. Please note, though, that welded stainless steel plates do not resist intergranular corrosion.
