Description:
Holmium is a relatively soft and malleable element that is fairly resistant to corrosion and is stable in dry air at standard temperature and pressure. However, in humid air and at higher temperatures, it quickly oxidizes, forming a yellowish oxide. In its pure form, holmium has a metallic, light silvery sheen.
