Description:
Inconel®718 - Nickel Alloy 718 is a precipitation-hardenable nickel-chromium alloy containing significant amounts of iron, niobium and molybdenum in addition to minor amounts of aluminum and titanium. The alloy combines corrosion resistance and high strength with excellent weldability, including resistance to post-weld cracking. Inconel® Nickel Alloy 718 has excellent creep rupture strength at temperatures up to 700°C. The alloy is used in gas turbines, rocket engines, spacecraft, nuclear reactors and pumps.
