2.4669 is an age-hardenable Nickel-Chromium-Iron Alloy. The Nickel and Chromium content is approximately 70% and 15% respectively. The main alloying elements are Iron (about 7%) and Titanium (about 2.5%). The total content of Aluminum, Niobium, Cobalt, and Manganese is about 4%. The X-750 alloy is corrosion and oxidation resistant and exhibits high heat strength up to 700°C. The material 2.4669 has high tensile and creep rupture properties. Round bars from the X-750 alloy are resistant to a wide range of industrial corrosive agents under both oxidizing and reducing conditions. This alloy also has high resistance to chloride ion stress corrosion cracking, even in the fully precipitation-hardened condition.

Alloy X-750 is primarily used for manufacturing components for gas turbines. The material is also used for:

    • Combustion chambers of rocket engines;
    • High-temperature resistant springs, screws, and fasteners (up to 650°C).
