Inconel® 625 is a low-carbon nickel-based alloy with chromium, molybdenum, and niobium. It offers outstanding resistance to various types of corrosion, including pitting, erosion, crevice, and intergranular corrosion, and is not affected by chlorine-induced stress corrosion. The material also withstands mineral acids such as nitric, hydrochloric, phosphoric, and sulfuric acid, as well as organic acids and alkalis, while maintaining excellent mechanical properties.
