Nimonic 90 is a nickel-chromium-cobalt alloy that is strengthened by precipitation hardening. The alloy contains approximately 19% chromium and 17% cobalt, with titanium and aluminum contents of 2.5% and 1.4% respectively. Known by the material number 2.4632, it offers excellent creep rupture strength at temperatures up to about 900°C, as well as impressive resistance to corrosion and oxidation even at high temperatures.
Purchase Nimonic 90 from Evek GmbH, your trusted supplier of premium nickel alloys and more.
Thanks to its heat resistance, 2.4632 is commonly used for manufacturing gas turbine blades, discs, and high-temperature resistant springs.
Key properties of Nimonic 90 include:
- Outstanding resistance to heat and creep (up to 900°C)
- Excellent corrosion and oxidation resistance
You can find 2.4632 available in the Evek GmbH online shop. We offer top-quality semi-finished metal products at competitive prices and ship worldwide.
