The 2.4816 tube, made from a nickel-chromium-iron alloy, offers outstanding resistance to corrosion and stress corrosion cracking. It performs excellently in oxidizing environments up to around 1150°C. In its annealed condition, the tube is easily weldable using all standard methods. It is also suitable for soldering and brazing, and features very good ductility.
